As society evolves, so does the definition of the American home. Pro Builder magazine explored how contemporary architect Phil Kean and his team at Phil Kean Design Group merged sophisticated resort living with mid-century modern-panache for The New American Home 2017.
Located in Nona, Florida, the 12,509-square-foot home takes advantage of the sunshine state’s weather with a one-story labyrinth of connected indoor/outdoor living areas, including a summer kitchen and courtyard putting green.
Emser’s Esplanade collection is seen throughout the home, visually connecting shared living areas, and private bedroom and bathroom retreats. The resulting aesthetic is that of an art gallery, accentuating beautiful exterior views and clean interior elements for a refined approach to relaxed modern living.
