Featured as an #EmserTile Design of the Week, this luxurious master bath blends surface textiles and materials in a unique way – pairing the inviting texture of textiles with eye-catching metallic finishes.
Becky Webb and Jessica Bradley with luxury custom home builder and award-winning design center, Bob Webb Homes in Columbus, Ohio, utilized multiple Emser Tile series with complementary qualities to make this bath one of a kind.
The design team used Dunham™, inspired by the finely textured fabric of Italian menswear, as a neutral base that connects the two vanities in an offset pattern. The textured tile series provides the warmth of a textile with the durability of glazed porcelain. Natural stone countertops, a bold light fixture, and decorative accent wall play off each other to create a cohesive space.
To contrast the soft texture of a textile, the designers selected Vista, a scintillating glass mosaic with a metallic finish to shine as a decorative focal point, almost like jewelry. The glass mosaic was used to offset the walk-in shower and behind a freestanding bathtub.
This project was installed by America’s Floor Source in Columbus, Ohio.
